Dana Richardson & Sarah Zentz are two documentary filmmakers who have a dream to create a documentary film of the Tarahumara tribe in Mexico. As a way to raise funds for the project, Richardson and Zentz set up an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign in hopes of meeting their goal of $12,000. Though the campaign runs until January 24th, Richardson and Zentza are also adding an unusual but fun touch – they’re shunning their shoes and going barefoot for 20 days.
With a beautifully designed website that appeals to the eye and captures the spirit of the film project, I wish these talented women (and their bare feet) all the best of luck. It’s always a good time to support indie women filmmakers!
